Arguayo will imminently revive his Festivities in Honour of Ntra. Mrs. de Candelaria 2023
They will take place from August 10 to 15 with an extensive program of events aimed at all audiences
The town of Arguayo is preparing for the imminent celebration of its Festivities in Honour of Ntra. Mrs. de Arguayo 2023, which will be held from Thursday, August 10 to Wednesday, August 15, with a wide program of liturgical events and recreational activities for all ages.
Thus, this celebration will begin on Thursday, August 10, and will do so from 21:30 H. with the development of the open-air cinema, in which the film "The school of magical animals" will be screened.
On Friday, August 11, for its part, from 10:00 H. the festive day will begin with ambient music, although it will be at 21:00 H. when the Festival of El Pueblo: Great Gala "Tu Hocico Me Suena" begins, highlighting that, from 22:00 H., the Paradise Group will liven up the evening with a Great Dance.
Regarding Saturday, August 12, it will be from 10:30 H. when the youngest of the town can have a great time with a day of land bouncy castles in the Arguayo Sports Centre and water castles on the street next to the Sports Centre, as well as with the celebration of the Foam Festival from 13.00H; highlighting that, from 14:00 H., the Arguayeros will
Likewise, it will be from 5:00 p.m. when the Gregorio González Martel Memorial Envite XIII Tournament begins, although at 6:00 p.m. a Storytelling for all children will begin to then make way for the Children's Festival "The Tonino and Cucumber Show", which will take place at 7:15 p.m.
As for Sunday, August 13, from 10:30H. the little ones of the town will be able to enjoy a day of playful castles that will be installed on the street located next to the Sports Centre, although it will be from 10:00H. when the XL Popular Craft Fair Santiago del Teide begins in Las Eras Park. At 12:00H., for its part, the Finals of Envite XIII Gregorio González Martel Memorial will take place; although it will be at 17:30H. when the Holy Mass and Floral Offering begins to Ntra. Mrs. de Candelaria, in which a food collection will also take place. It will be from 20:00H.
When a Folkloric Festival takes place with the group "Roas" and participation
Of the Folklore Workshop of Santiago del Teide, accompanied by different soloists from the municipality. Finally, it will be at 21:30 H. when the Dance with the Generation Zero duo begins.
If we attend Monday, August 14, it will be at 12:00H. when traditional games are held in the Plaza de Arguayo, emphasising that from 21:00H. the Holy Mass will be celebrated, officiated by our Pastor D. Víctor Manuel Fernández Suárez and sung by the San Buenaventura Choir. Then, procession through the usual tour accompanied by our parish priest, faithful devotees, authorities and the Municipal Music Band of Santiago del Teide. At its end, fireworks for the pyrotechnics Piromart, emphasising that it will be at 23:00 H. when the Dance with the Arguayo Band and Atlantic orchestras takes place.
Finally, on Tuesday, August 15, starting at 12:00, the Holy Mass will begin, officiated by our Pastor D. Víctor Manuel Fernández Suárez and sung by the "Abruncos" Group. Then, procession through the usual tour accompanied by our parish priest, faithful devotees, authorities and the Municipal Music Band of Santiago del Teide. Finally, it will not be until 9:00 p.m. when we can enjoy the Variety Festival -presented by Elvis Sanfiel -, which will feature the humour of Elvis and La Pimienta and, then, the stellar performance of Los Cantadores.
