The mayor signs the minutes of the start of the renovation works of the senior center and youth center of Puerto de Santiago
The cost is estimated at €1,020,681.52 and they have an execution period of 4 months
The Mayor of Santiago del Teide Emilio Navarro recently signed the act of beginning the renovation works of the senior center and youth center in the La Vigilia area in Puerto de Santiago for which €1,020,681.52 will be invested with an execution period of 4 months divided into three phases.
Regarding the execution of the works corresponding to the part of the youth center, it should be noted that at the time an agreement was approved between the city council and the Cabildo through which the latter would contribute the amount of €344,449.08 for said work of the part of the youth center.
The objective of these actions is to intervene on an existing building between La Tosca streets and Herrador streets, creating several spaces that allow a correct connection between the different areas as well as the improvement, conditioning and provision of both centers.
It is also about improving the external appearance of these municipal facilities by giving them a more current and modern appearance, which serves as an attraction for the residents of the center and which confers an identity to this important nerve center of activity in Puerto de Santiago.
