Santiago del Teide will make the largest nougat in the Canary Islands
It will be this Saturday, December 16 on Méndez Núñez Street in the town of Tamaimo from 11:00 a.m.
Santiago del Teide and more specifically the town of Tamaimo will host this Saturday, December 16, the preparation and subsequent tasting of the longest nougat in the Canary Islands. A total of 25 meters of nougat that will delight the palates of those attending one of the most characteristic products of these Christmas dates.
The preparation and tasting of the largest nougat in the Canary Islands is the strong point of a day in which there will be a Christmas market on Méndez Núñez de Tamaimo street from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m., run by the Neighborhood Association. La Paz with countless activities during the day among which apart from the making and tasting of the longest nougat in the Canary Islands there will be parades by the "Tayme" Folklore Group, batucada with the Tamatimba group, crafts and gift packaging workshops, among others.
Prior to the preparation and tasting of the largest nougat in the Canary Islands, the Tamaimo Social Center will host a "Christmas Nougat Preparation Workshop" this Friday, December 15, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
