Kristaps Berzins and Brenda Morín winners of the 11th edition of the Santiago del Teide Night Race

José Francisco Meneses and Dácil Hernández were, respectively, the winners of the 5km race

The runner Kristaps Berzins in the men's category and Brenda Morín in the women's category were the absolute winners of the 11th edition of the Santiago del Teide Night Race that brought together more than 450 athletes.

Following Kristaps Berzins in the 7km, athletes Basile Herter and Moisés Romero entered. In women, after Brenda Morín, the local athlete Guada Arnedo and Carmen Machín entered.

The local men's 7 km classification ended with first place for Jairo Pérez, second place for Saulo Gorrín and third place for Emilio Jesús del Barrio, while in the women's category Guada Arnedo was first.

Try 5km

The first three men's finishers were José Francisco Meneses, Daniel Sacramento and Sadía José Marrero. In women, first was Dácil Hernández, second was Bianka Posa and third was María Isabel Díaz.

As for the local men's 5km, first was Javier Amaro, second was Izan Díaz and third was Jonatan Espinoza. In women, first was Dácil Hernández, second was Bianka Posa and third was Belén Socas.

Within the different categories in contention, special mention has to be made of the participants in the category of functional diversity, which the city council has always supported. In this sense, in the 7km race the first place went to Diego Fernández, second José Alberto Albarral and third Manolo Martín. For its part, in the 5km race the winner was Andrea Carolina de León.

Present at the trophy presentation were Mayor Emilio Navarro, the First Deputy Mayor, Ibraim Forte, the Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos González, the Councilor for Works and Services Alexandra León and the Councilor for Volunteering, Brenda Devora.
