Los Guíos beach partially reopens
Its opening hours will be from 09:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Today, Friday, October 27, the Santiago del Teide City Council has partially reopened Los Guíos beach -located in the tourist center of Los Gigantes-, which was closed to the public due to construction works. improvement and conditioning of Calle Las Adelfas, with the purpose of safeguarding the safety of neighbors and visitors.
It is worth mentioning that said reopening, which arises after the favorable report from the project management of the works that are being carried out, will take place from 09:00H. until 5:00 p.m., highlighting that, as the work evolves, new partial openings of the aforementioned beach will be carried out.
With respect to the action that is being carried out, it contemplates, among other aspects, the execution of a viewpoint that will be located approximately 2 meters above the slope that makes up the cliff of Los Guíos beach, also allowing an expansion in overhang of the sidewalk that will create a rest space and a viewpoint that will allow a panoramic view of the majestic cliffs.
Mayor Emilio Navarro and Tourism Councilor Luz Goretti Gorrín were present in the area.
