The 2025 Fiestas in Honor of Our Lady of Pilar and Saint Dominic de Guzmán de Las Manchas Begin They will take place from October 10th to 12th.
The town of Las Manchas is preparing for the upcoming celebration of its Fiestas in Honor of Our Lady of Pilar and Saint Dominic de Guzmán 2025, a
highlight on the municipal festive calendar that will take place from October 10th to 12th and will combine religious, cultural, and recreational events for all audiences. The festivities will begin on October 8th and 9th, when the Triduum in Honor of Our Lady of Pilar and Saint Dominic de Guzmán will be held, witha Holy Mass at 4:00 PM in honor of the town's deceased. On Friday, October 10, the Tamatimba batucada will parade through the town's streets at 7:00 AM, marking the official start of the celebrations. During the day, the Triduum will also be held in honor of the Virgin of Pilar and Saint Dominic, and in the evening, starting at 8:00 PM, the 2nd Soloists' Meeting will take place, with the participation of prominent performers and a performance by the Manavy Band Orchestra. On Saturday, October 11th, the program will continue with health training and children's leisure activities, as well as the traditional envite competition in the town square at 11:00 AM. In the evening, at 9:00 PM, Mass will be celebrated, officiated by the parish priest Víctor Manuel Fernández Suárez and sung by the Raíces de Santiago del Teide Folklore Group. This will be followed by a procession along the usual route, which will also include a fireworks display by Piromart. The day will culminate, from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM, with a grand folk dance, livened up by the Sensación Gomera orchestras, DJ Chris G, and Malibú Band. On Sunday, October 12th, the main day of the festivities, a procession will take place from the church to the town square starting at 12:30 p.m., accompanied by the Santiago del Teide Band. Afterward, a solemn Mass will be celebrated, officiated by the parish priest, Mr. Víctor Fernández Suárez, and sung by the La Acequia Folklore Group. In the afternoon, starting at 6:00 p.m., a variety show will be held, featuring a musical performance by Haridian León and his band "Los sueños en las montañas" (Dreams in the Mountains), comedy by Toni Rodríguez, and the presentation of trophies to the winners of the "Envite" (Sports Tournament). The celebration will conclude with a dance hosted by the Grupo Paraíso and a communal meal for all attendees.
