The Molledo is preparing to celebrate its Festivities in Honor of Santa Rosa de Lima and the Purísima Concepción 2025
They will be held from August 20 to 25
The town of El Molledo is already finalizing the details to host a complete program of events on the occasion of the Festivities in Honor of Santa Rosa de Lima and the Purísima Concepción 2025, which will be held from August 20 to 25 and in which neighbors and visitors can enjoy activities for all ages, from sports and children's games to live music, festivals and religious events.
The program starts on Wednesday, August 20, and does so with the development of the Indoor Futsal Tournament at the El Molledo sports center, at 5:00 p.m. The day will conclude with the screening of the film "Gran Turismo" at 9:00 p.m.
On Thursday, August 21, at 5:00 p.m., the El Molledo 2025 Envite Tournament will take place, with prior registration on the same day; while on Friday, August 22, the day will begin early, at 07:00 hours, with a lively batucada by Tamatimba, which will tour the streets of the town. Subsequently, at 10:00 am, the arrival and assembly of the Eclipse Sound and Lighting equipment will take place.
In the afternoon, at 7:00 p.m., the expected El Molledo 2025 Soloists Meeting will be held, with the participation of Haridian León, Mari Carmen Encinoso, Iván Cabezas, Lola Hernández, Óscar Cabezas and Álvaro Mansito. At the end, accompanied by the parranda Amigos Parranderos, a popular paella will be offered by Meals Fermín Mesa. The night will culminate with a great festival from 23:00, enlivened by Sensación Gomera and Manavy Band.
On Saturday, August 23, from 11:00 am, the little ones will have a great time with a giant inflatable playroom, traditional games, jumping castles and activities with legos and giant balls. In the afternoon, at 5:00 p.m., the Hifi Scale will be held with the children of the town and the stellar performance of Irene Gil, from La Voz Kids.
At 9:00 p.m. the Holy Mass will be officiated, presided over by the parish priest Víctor Manuel Fernández Suárez, to later give way to the procession through the usual route and with the participation of the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide, which will include a pyrotechnic exhibition by Piromart. At the end, a documentary video on the history of the people will be screened. The day will conclude at 23:00, with a great dance by Mauray Band and Maquinaria Band.
As for Sunday, August 24, from 11:00 am, children can enjoy inflatable water castles with rainbow slide and children's pool. At 2:00 p.m., a foam party will be held for all ages. In the afternoon, at 6:00 p.m., the traditional Indoor football match between Singles and Married will be played; while the night, starting at 7:00 p.m., will be dedicated to the Great Variety Festival, with the performances of Juanito Panchín, Parranda El Chirato and Arturo Castillo, presented by Jaime Hernández. To close the day, great dance with Armonía Latina.
Finally, on Monday, August 25, the big day of the festivities, will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the Holy Mass, sung by the Samay group and officiated by the parish priest Víctor Manuel Fernández Suárez. Subsequently, the procession will be carried out accompanied by authorities, faithful and the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide, with a musical offering by Álvaro Mansito and José María Méndez. At the end, a popular meal will be offered by El Balcón de Higa and a great dance enlivened by Maikel Jiménez and Grupo Paraíso, putting the finishing touch to a festival full of tradition, culture and joy.
