Registration Opens for the 12th Santiago del Teide Cycling Tour
This sporting event will take place on September 6th, starting at 9:00 AM.
The Santiago del Teide Town Hall announces that registration is now open for the 12th edition of the traditional Santiago del Teide Cycling Tour, which will be held on Sunday, September 6th, starting at 9:00 AM.
Anyone who wishes to participate may do so, whether or not they are a member of a cycling federation, regardless of gender or nationality, provided they are 18 years of age or older on the day of the event and do not suffer from any illness that would prevent them from participating in this type of event. Participation is permitted with road bikes, mountain bikes, and electric bikes.
Thus, this event will start and finish at the Abelardo González Square in Tamaimo. After a 51 km cycling route, the final 6 km will be a competitive time trial up to Tamaimo, where the final classifications will be determined. The complete route begins in Tamaimo, then climbs to the town center of Santiago del Teide, Arguayo, Chio, Guía de Isora, Armeñime, Alcalá, Puerto de Santiago, and returns to Tamaimo.
Registration will be open until September 2nd and/or until all places are filled.
The registration fee is €20 for the general public and €10 for residents of Santiago del Teide.
