The city council opens the registrations for the VII edition of the Crossing to Swim "Walls of Hell"
It will take place on Sunday, October 29 from 9:30 a.m.
The City Council of Santiago del Teide has opened the registrations to participate in the VII edition of the Crossing to Swim Walls of Hell that will take place on October 29 from 09:30 hours and that will be scored for the Canary Islands Open Water Cup.
As in previous editions there will be two distances in competition: a short distance of 1.5 km that will make a circular route on the beach of Los Guíos and another long distance of 6.5 km with departure on the beach of Masca and arrival at the beach of Los Guíos. For the short distance there will be a maximum of 200 registered while for the long distance the maximum number of registered may not exceed 200. The maximum time to be able to perform the different modalities will be 3 hours for the distance of 6.5 and 1 hour for the distance of 1.5km.
An important aspect to take into account for the distance of 6.5 km is that it will be necessary to accredit at least one crossing made between October 2021 and October 2022 of at least 2,000 metres to be able to perform the 6.5 km test.
Registrations in general will have a price of €30 for the 6.5 km test and €20 for the 1.5 km test, while people registered in the municipality of Santiago del Teide will have a 50% discount on both tests.
The registrations that will be open until next October 25 will be made online through the form enabled at the following link:
