Santiago del Teide shouts "NO" to gender violence

The Santiago del Teide City Council has joined today, Friday, November 24, in the commemoration events scheduled for the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women” that will be commemorated tomorrow, Saturday, November 25.

The main event took place at the doors of the local town hall where the Councilor for Equality, María José García Pérez read an institutional declaration and the manifesto against gender violence in which she reiterated the city council's commitment to the fight against this social scourge. .

Next, there was a performance titled “For Me, For You, For All: Free, Alive and Without Fear” by CG Eventos, which after their performance gave way to a minute of silence to show and make visible the commitment and support. with the 52 victims of gender violence so far this year.
