Mayor Emilio Navarro organises and distributes the competences of the new government group

 

The mayor approves the new distribution of areas and distributes them among the 13 elected councillors belonging to the Popular Party

 

The plenary of the City Council of Santiago del Teide has ratified today the decree that establishes the organisation and distribution of competences of the new government group that is chaired by Mayor Emilio Navarro of the Popular Party for the third consecutive legislature.

 

The decree includes the following generic delegations in favour of the following Deputy Mayor: Ibraim Forte Rodríguez, as 1º Deputy Mayor, will assume the responsibilities of Citizen Security, Police, Mobility and Accessibility, Coordination of the Departments of Zones and Traffic.

 

For her part, the 2º Deputy Mayor, Beatriz González Navarro, will be in charge of Governance, Contracting, Institutional Relations, Purchasing Control, Consumption-Omic and councillor of Tamaimo Zone.

 

The 4º Deputy Mayor, María José García Pérez, will assume the councillors of Education, Women, Drug Dependence, Equality, Family and Santiago del Teide area councillor.

 

For her part, the 5º Deputy Mayor, Luz Goretti Gorrín will assume the areas of Urbanism, Tourism, Rural Environment, Water, Environment and Sustainable Growth, Coasts, Beaches and councillor Arguayo Zone.

 

SPECIFIC DELEGATIONS

 

Apart from these councillors, the mayor has approved a number of specific delegations in favour of the following councillors:

 

The areas of Finance, Municipal Agenda, Animal Welfare and Health, Councillor of Puerto de Santiago-Los Gigantes Area will be for the 3º Deputy Mayor, Ramón Sergio Mendoza Expósito.

 

Mayor Alexandra León Martín will be the Councillor for Works and Services, General Services, Municipal Transport, Control of Service Companies. The areas of Commerce, Local Economic Development, Primary Sector, Employment, Training, Smart Cities and Public Transport in favour of Councillor Nicolás Germán Jiménez León.

 

The area of Cabinet of Presidency, Protocol, Careful Participation and Volunteering for Councillor Ana Krysten Martín Hernández. Councillor Juan Carlos González Herrera will take care of the areas of Sports, Youth, Leisure and Free Time, while Councillor Tania Cuiadrado Carrasco will take over the area of Social Services, Care for Minors and the Elderly, Functional Diversity and Housing.

 

Finally, the areas of Culture, Festivals and Cultural Heritage will be assumed by Councillor David Salvador Quintero Pérez and those of Transparency, Statistics, New Technologies, Antiokupas Advisory Office and Citizen Attention Services (SAC) will be for Councillor Gesabel Dorta Forte
