More than 250 swimmers will participate this Saturday in the XXVI edition of the Santiago del Teide Swimming Journey
The departure from La Arena beach will take place from 6:00 p.m. according to the different categories in the competition
More than 250 swimmers will participate this Saturday, July 8 from 6:00 p.m. in the "XXVI edition of the Travesía a Nado de Santiago del Teide" that will have its departure on the beach of La Arena and arrival at the beach of Puerto de Santiago.
The route of the test will be approximately 950 metres and each participant will have 45 minutes to swim through this journey.
First, the departure of swimmers who present some type of functional diversity will be made. Next, the female category will come out and, later, the male category, being its qualifiers within each age category.
After the arrival of the last male participant, the departures of the children's categories will take place. For all participants, it will be mandatory to wear a hat from the moment of departure until arrival at the finish line.
The organisation will have a stand on La Arena's own beach this Saturday, July 8, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for the removal of the bibs and collection of material that a vehicle will be responsible for carrying to the finish line.
