The town of Arguayo celebrated its pilgrimage in honor of San Isidro Labrador
It is an event that every year gains in followers and where celebration, tradition and religious worship go hand in hand.
The pilgrimage in honor of San Isidro Labrador in Arguayo was held this past Sunday, May 14, under a great festive atmosphere, bringing together hundreds of neighbors as well as numerous visitors.
The day began at 1:30 p.m. with the celebration of the Eucharist. At the end of it, the traditional pilgrimage took place through the streets of Arguayo in which local folkloric groups, the Herreños Dancers, as well as different carts and parrandas participated.
Upon arrival at the Las Eras park, there was the blessing of the animals, the musical offering and the transfer of the image to the sports pavilion. Next, there was a great festival that was enlivened by the Wamampy, Sensación Gomera and Arguayo Band orchestras.
