The reading of the jury's decision took place on Tuesday, July 25.

The Santiago del Teide City Council has named the new winners of the XXXVII edition of the “Rincones de Santiago” Photography and Painting Contest, whose reading of the jury's decision took place on Tuesday, July 25, prior to the act of closing of the Patron Saint Festivities in Honor of Santiago Apóstol 2023.

Thus, in the category of "Photography", the first prize, valued at 300 euros, went to Juan Oliva González with his work entitled "Entre gigantes". The second prize, endowed with 200 euros, went to Antonio David Taño Felipe with the photograph entitled "Among volcanoes" and, finally, Marisa Antoci took the third prize -valued at 150 euros- with her photograph "My home between breezes".

Regarding the modality of "Painting", the prizes were as follows: the first prize, with an amount of 759.49 euros, went to José Mederos Rodríguez with the painting entitled "Nature in Santiago del Teide". The second prize, endowed with an amount of 300 euros, went to Juan Carlos Sánchez Lezcano with his work entitled "History" while the third prize, endowed with 150 euros, went to María Candelaria González Pérez, with the work entitled "Ruta de the Almonds”.
