The popular duo "Los del Río" will perform at the Patron Saint Festivities in honour of Santiago Apostle of Santiago del Teide

The musical duo "Los del Río" that will perform their world-famous song "Macarena" will close the Patron Saint Festivities in Honour of Santiago Apóstol 2023 with a concert that will take place next Tuesday, July 25, from 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza de Santiago del Teide and with free admission.
The festivities begin tomorrow, Wednesday, July 19 at 9:00 p.m. with the Great Gala of Election of the Children's Queen of the festivities with the participation of the show "La Casa del Bosque" by Komba Producciones. The next day, Thursday, July 20, at 9:30 p.m., the Great Election Gala of the Great Lady of the parties will be held with the performances of the comedian Juanito Marrero and Marea 3.
On Friday, July 21 at 9:30 p.m., there will be the Great Gala of Election of the Adult Queen of the Festivities in Honour of Santiago Apóstol, with the stellar performance of the former OT contestant, Jorge González.
On Saturday, July 22 at 08:00 a.m. there will be the blessing and subsequent departure of the pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago Ruta Jacobea Tinerfeña from the Parish of Santiago Ap´ñostol de Los Realejos. At 11:00 a.m. there will be a playground in the square while from 11:00 p.m. a Gran Verbena will be developed by the Maraury orchestra.
On Sunday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m., reception of pilgrims at the Hermitage of the Apostle Santiago in El Valle de Arriba. Then, departure to the Parish of San Fernando Rey for the celebration of Holy Mass. Around 9.30 pm, open-air cinema with the screening of the movie "Pinocchio".
On Monday, July 24, at 5:00 p.m. from the Parish of San Fernando Rey Third Concert of Susana Torres Bells. At 6:30 p.m., musical offering in the square and collection of non-perishable food for Caritas Santiago del Teide. At 9:00 p.m., the celebration of the Solemnity of the Apostle Santiago will take place, presided over by the parish priest Víctor Manuel Fernández and sung by the A.F.Tinixara. Then, procession through the usual places, accompanied by the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide. Staging of the Dialogue between the Soldiers of the Castle and the Ship of the Patroness Our Lady of the Rosary and the Apostle Santiago. At the end, party with the group La Calle.
On Monday, July 25, at 11:30 a.m., the departure of the Municipal Banner will be from the Consistory Houses, accompanied by the municipal authorities, military, Children's Queen, Adult Queen and Grand Lady and the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide. At 12:00, the Solemnity of the Apostle Santiago will be celebrated, presided over by the Hon. and Rvdmo. Mr. Bernardo Álvarez Afonso and sung by the San Buenaventura Choir. Next, procession along the usual route, accompanied by the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide, municipal authorities, civilians, military and faithful.
At 8:00 p.m., it will be the reading of the minutes of the XXXVII Edition of the Photography and Painting Contest "Rincones de Santiago 2023" and of the VII edition of the contest "Lyric Letters of Santiago". Next, the auction and end of the festivities will be the stellar performance of the Duo "Los Del Río" that with more than 40 records recorded, recognised and awarded worldwide, with sales of more than 100 million copies, 15 million records, with 250 Gold discs and 120 Platinum records, will celebrate with this concert its 60 years in music.
