Registration is open for the 19th edition of the Panadero Vertical Race
It will take place on February 3 from 4:00 p.m. with departure in Tamaimo and finish in the town of Arguayo
The Santiago del Teide City Council is preparing the second sporting event of the year, the 19th edition of the Vertical Race Subida del Panadero, which will take place on February 3 from 4:00 p.m.
The departure will be from the Abelardo González de Tamaimo square towards El Retamar, then it will pass through Las Manchas and end in Arguayo, specifically outside the Francisco Julián Martín sports pavilion.
The test has a total positive ascent of 468 meters for a total of 5,760 meters of route. In this sense, registration is now open at a price of €10 for the general public, being free for people registered in the municipality through the following link:

Only those people who are 16 years old or older on the day of the test can register. In the case of minors, they must provide the duly completed parental authorization, which can be found on the department's website.
It is the organization of one of the oldest mountain races in Tenerife and takes place through an unparalleled natural setting, the climb from Tamaimo towards El Retamar where its vegetation surrounds you; the arrival at the upper area of Las Manchas where you can see the views towards the island of La Gomera, the Valley of Santiago del Teide, etc. and, finally, the descent towards Arguayo accompanied by the Roque de Arguayo.
