Santiago del Teide continues to be an example of tourist loyalty

 

Coinciding with the celebration of World Tourism Day, two couples and some siblings who have been staying at establishments in the municipality for between 15 and 40 consecutive years were honored.

 

Coinciding with World Tourism Day, which was celebrated this past Saturday, September 27th, the Santiago del Teide City Council, in collaboration with the Barceló Santiago, Landmar Costa Los Gigantes, and TUI Blue Los Gigantes hotels, held a beautiful and moving tribute to two couples and some siblings as examples of tourist loyalty in our municipality.

 

The honorees were:

 

* Mr. José Martínez and Mrs. Lorena Barciela, staying at the Landmar Costa Los Gigantes Hotel.

 

* Mr. Jorn Wimers and Ms. Sabine Wimers, staying at the Barceló Santiago Hotel.

 

* Mr. John Roberts McKay and Mrs. Margaret Hellen McKay, staying at the Tui Blue Los Gigantes Hotel.

 

The tribute took place at the three aforementioned tourist establishments and was attended by Tourism Councilor Luz Goretti Gorrín, along with members of the boards and directors of the various hotel complexes.
